IMAGETEK SYSTEMS LTD is the founder member of an independent group of companies specialising in Document Imaging services (primarily scanning from source documents, books, plans and microfilm), Information Management systems and specialist software.

Established since 1992, we moved into our own new purpose-built headquarters at Honiton in December 2004. This new building houses both our scanning service bureau (for all source documents, books and microfilm) and our secure archive document store. Our specialist IT and programming centre is currently based at Bath .

It has always been our policy to work closely with our clients to implement effective solutions optimised to their specific applications, financial budgets and operating environments. This ‘best-fit’ approach has enabled many of our clients to find an ideal, cost-effective solution for controlling and accessing their information, whether archive or current, irrespective of format.

Our overall aims are:

• to meet our clients’ requirements for fast and easy access to information that they may wish (or are legally obliged) to keep.
• to provide worthwhile financial savings for our clients combined with enhanced operational efficiency
• to ensure the future security of their essential archived records.

Our scope of activities include

• provision of a full range of digital scanning and conversion services (both on-site at our bureau in Honiton and occasionally on clients’ own premises, by request) ;
• design, implementation and support of databases of varying complexity to permit rapid accurate access to scanned or microfilmed archive images, through to:
• advanced bespoke web-based software for use in networked integrated Information and Production Management solutions.
